Wakboth, caught in a magical net
Wakboth the Devil is a monster created during the Great Darkness by the Unholy Trio. He took over the world and his only goal was to destroy Glorantha entirely.
Fortunately, the Seven Lightbringers went on their quest to save the world from darkness, and with the help of all the other gods, caught Wakboth in a magical net constructed by the newly-born goddess Arachne Solara. Arachne Solara then sucked everything out of the Devil, and left only his empty husk. Wakboth was ground into dust, Time was born, and the gods swore never to alter the world or enter the realm of mortals and interfere in the mortals' lives.
