Wyrms are legless, large, winged reptiles related. Heavily armored, there is a distinct relationship to dragons, but they aren't true dragons.
Preferring plains and mountains, they aren't comfortable in forests but they will hunt along its edge. Solitary by nature, wyrms will occasionally join if they have a special purpose in mind.
Although they follow the same religion as the dragonewts, they are a separate species.
